He attended to The Fashion Institute of technology in New York graduating from a fashion program with evening and bridal concentration . Guillermo has over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry, his experience includes working for global bridal and evening designers as Monique Lhuillier, Dennis Basso, Reem Acra, Calvin Klein-Evening-wear, Vivianne Westwood among others. During his early 20’s had the opportunity of working in preservation and restoration of historical gowns (Balenciaga, Christian Dior) for THE MET-Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

His extensive experience and knowledge of dressmaking techniques allowed him to perfect the exquisite craft of bridal couture and luxury evening, ensuring his made-to-measure and off-the-rack clients receive only the highest quality and luxury results.

In 2019 he launched WHISPER by GUILLERMO PHARIS, a bridal brand available in USA and Asia. The collection was presented in New York Bridal Fashion Week in October 2019.
