General Questions

Yes, all of our appointments are face-to-face and one-to-one, and are generally offered from Monday to Saturday, with your choice of morning, afternoon or evening. We are able to accommodate special appointments out of our regular schedule contact us to contact@gp-bridal.com. All appointments are at our bridal studio located in Tribeca, New York City, Downtown,  Denver, Colorado and Hong Kong.

Bridal appointments are 90 minutes, Alterations appointments are 60 minutes, Custom made appointment consultation are 60-90 minutes, Veil and accessories are 45 minutes, during the appointment you will have a really great – and thorough – consultation with Guillermo who will get a good handle on your personal style, what you want for your wedding and what’s possible for your budget. You may well be planning on Pinterest, or have cut out some styles that you like from magazines. Any which way, Guillermo will use this opportunity to understand what it is your are looking for. Many brides have been previously communicating through email and their first appointment is to place the order and get measured, this speed the process.

By then you will have decided that Guillermo is the one to design your dream dress, and again you will come to the studio to order your dress, get measured, book your fittings and talk about timescale. We also ask for a 70% deposit at this stage, which covers fabric sourcing, fabric purchase, pattern and draping for your gown and garment construction. 

Designer Custom made gown starts at $2500 with fitting/alterations included. 

Designer Bridal Gown shopping price range is $1500-$6000. 

Bridal fitting/Alterations at GP BRIDAL range in $250-$1200

This varies depending on the style of gown you have chosen. Surprisingly, because our gowns are made in New York, we can turn designs around within a few months, sometimes few weeks, but generally you should expect to wait between six and nine months for your dress. Obviously we have to allow time for adjustments and minor alterations, so it’s good to have the buffer of a year before your wedding date.

You need to bring the exact underwear that you will be wearing on the day (we design your gown to fit around it), and also the same heel height so that we can adjust the length accordingly.

Our gowns are custom-made to the initial measurements that we take at your first appointment. Weight fluctuations will have an impact on the design process, and we always advise that it’s best to wait until your are ‘body ready’. Depending on the date of your wedding, we need to agree a deadline to take your body measurements, which we would then use to construct your paper pattern for your fittings. We are sorry, but we do have to place an extra charge on your gown if there has been a large weight change resulting in significant alterations .

Normally you will have two to three fittings to complete the design and development of your dress. If any changes are made resulting in further cutting, an additional fitting would be needed to make sure that you are happy to proceed to the next stage.

We are a bridal designer boutique founded by independent designer Guillermo Pharis, we carry only Guillermo Pharis designs from his brands Whisper Bridal New York and GIA New York, we have approximately 200 different styles for you to see and try them on, Samples generally range in size 2-10 . 

The collections price range is $1500-$6000.

 

We only use luxury fabrics – Guillermo has an extensive knowledge in all types of raw materials as silks, blends, modern fabrics trimming and laces that we carefully source from all over the world through vendors from Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain, Hong Kong, Finland and other countries that manufacture for the bridal and evening industry .

Every bride’s vision and dress-buying journey is unique, and as such pricing varies for each gown. We will discuss pricing with you at your initial consultation, but it is important for you to have a budget in mind, which will enable us to recommend styles to match. This budget will become our guide price. Custom made wedding Dresses start at $2500 for simple styles and can go up according to style and fabric. Simple evening dresses start at $950. 

U.S. RETURNS

IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED, WE WILL GLADLY ACCEPT YOUR RETURN OF UNWORN OR UNWASHED MERCHANDISE WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE DATE DELIVERED for online orders and 30 days after buying in-person at our locations. Please email us to contact@gp-bridal.com to start your return.

FRAGRANCE, BEAUTY, AND COSMETICS RETURNS MUST BE UNUSED, UNOPENED, AND IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING.

ALL FUR, SPECIAL ORDERS, CUSTOM ORDERS, PERSONALIZED ITEMS AND ITEMS MARKED AS FINAL SALE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN, REFUND OR EXCHANGE.

Custom Gown Policy:  All of our  Custom made dresses are made (Bespoke) to your specifications, so they are not refundable. However, you will be heavily involved with the whole wedding dress making experience and provided with the design and fabric samples along the so there will be no surprises! 

Wedding gown IN-PERSON Policy: We offer full refund within 7 days after placing your order.  This is applicable to all dresses purchased in person at our locations.  Sample sale dresses are final sale, no refundable. 

Online wedding gown Policy:  All bridal gowns purchased online are made to order, which means that we make the gown after you place the order. You can cancel your online order within 7 days after placing your order for a full refund. We value our customers and your happiness is the most important to us, in the case that you purchase a wedding gown online and after receiving the order you simply change your mind , a partial refund of 40% of the total can be processed in your favor after receiving the unworn gown with original labels and tags.

 

 Alteration policy:  All alterations are hand-work and we have so much respect to the craftsmanship involved. We offer full refund before we start working in your gown, refunds are not possible once the gown has being processed for alterations and work has being done. Work starts typically 7-14 days after placing your order. 

Merchandise Policy:  Return are eligible for a full refund if returned within 30 days with a receipt. Full-price merchandise, with exception of furs and jewelry, received after 30 days will be credited based on the current selling price. Returns of furs, bridal undergarments and jewelry will not be accepted after 30 days.

 

Yes, absolutely, we have helped other brides to walk the aisle looking gorgeous with a very short notice, 4 weeks before the wedding, even 2 weeks before. Extra Fee will be charge for super rush orders.

Yes, we do! Guillermo worked on Tv presenting a fashion segment in the past, helping brides with styling and selecting the right dress according to your body. We even make our own collections, and bespoke pieces are a speciality! We also love to make a veil for you, that co-ordinates with your dress.

YES HE DOES! This consultations are face-to-face with him either online or in-person. This is perfect for brides who are looking to learn about what’s the best advice for them in regards of bridal gown shape, fabrics recommended according to wedding venue, dress patterns and materials. The consultation will last 60 minutes and they take place in Denver. A booking fee is requested to confirm you are a real person and. Simply book “Bridal Boutique” through our website and add a note requesting to meet with him.
